Ana is Brazilian with a truly passionate Latin American spirt. Graduated in chemistry then completed her MBA in Marketing in 2002, she is currently based in Brazil and in charge of Customer Insight in Latam for Sanofi – Healthcare and Pharma industry.
She has been in marketing research more than 20 years, always looking for innovation and pushing boundaries to take the industry further. Prior to this, she has held a number of senior marketing and insight positions at some of the biggest names in the industry; most recently, heading up the whole of Latin America for PepsiCo beverages, working with brands, such as Pepsi, Gatorade and Tropicana. Ana’s experience spans the globe, having spent 4 years in London running both European (regional cluster) and Global projects on brands such as OMO/Persil, Comfort/Snuggle , Rexona/Sure and Axe / Lynx.
Her main role in all these corporations has been to elevate the area of marketing research to be considered as a real catalyst for transformational growth. She is truly passionate about Customer Insight and is always looking for innovative methods to learn about consumers. Her most recent focus has been on understanding how MR could contribute and influence more to Innovation projects and idea generation as well as movements related to Online; not exclusively online research, but also its implications to the area and new opportunities.
Ana worked alongside MESH in creating the award winning Sustainable Research Communities in Brazil, using an innovative Experience Based Marketing to bring the senior corporates of marketing closer to the day to day experiences of C and D class Latin Americans to better inform business decisions.
