General Manager – GFK (Peru)
He is currently General Manager of GfK Consumer Experiences Peru (formerly GfK Connect), a company dedicated to market research and public opinion, which is part of the GfK Group. He has been General Manager Corporate Communication Support S.A. and Project Manager Apoyo Opinion y Mercado SA. Hernan has a Doctor in Social Psychology from Complutense University of Madrid, earning Excellent Cum Laude distinction. He also holds a degree in Psychology from the Catholic University. Graduate Business Management Program (PDC) at the University of Piura. He has held positions as a consultant for the World Bank, USAID, ILD, UNICEF, SNI, CDG, IAF, Gredes and the Ministry of Health.
He is past President of the Peruvian Association of Market Research Companies (APEIM) in 2013-2014. He has taught courses on Journalism and Public Opinion, Psychology of Communication, Market Research, Project Management, Qualitative Research, Public and Consumer Communication Strategies and Consumer Behaviour at the University of Lima, Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, University Pacific and Peruvian University of Applied Sciences.
At GfK, he is leading the development of a monthly public opinion survey that is conducted nationwide.
