Julio Franco – Zappistore

Julio is a Vice President with Zappistore based in Boston.  Zappistore is the online research provider that is changing the way that companies are accessing insight through lightning fast speed, low cost and highest quality market research.

Julio recently joined Zappi bringing experience both from the corporate side and the traditional market research agency side.

Prior to joining Zappi, Julio was the Americas Director and the North America lead for Customer Insight at AIG Consumer Insurance.  Julio was part of the leadership team that developed and established the Customer Insight function within AIG consumer.  His role was to equip businesses leaders with the customer knowledge, insight and strategy that allowed them to make informed decisions to improve and grow their business.  Julio’s work encompassed the full business lifecycle, from market opportunity assessment, customer segmentation and value proposition development, to acquisition optimization, customer lifecycle management, and innovation.

Julio also has over 10 years of experience in traditional market research working on the agency side, where he developed expertise across a broad spectrum of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies applied at a global level.  Prior to joining AIG, Julio was a Vice President with Ipsos Public Affairs where he focused on branding and corporate reputation, communication strategy and execution, public opinion polling and product development among others.

Julio began his market research career at Napoleon Franco & CIA in his native Colombia before joining Ipsos North America in 2006.  He holds a degree in psychology from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota, Colombia.
